Dear All,

We all know that plants can perform the process of photosynthesis in the presence of sunlight. Why they can't perform photosynthesis with the help of moon light, despite the fact that the the moon light is the reflection of sunlight ?

@Pushkar,
I would say from my knowledge of basic Physics that the amount of energy transmitted from the moons reflected light is very small (approx 1000 times less) in relationship to the amount generated from sunlight. However, I used Google to find a more expert answer.
