I just finished playing Dishonored on PC on low chaos, and the end credit song was beautiful, just like the entire game itself.
The song well complimented the game story.
----------Lyrics----------
Oh, along us for all
Of the big and the small
Well, the taller they stand
Well, the harder they fall
We live for today but we die for the next
with blood in our veins and the air in our chest
Oh, we step into war with our hearts on the line
Dirt on our boots, it shakes free over time
The music, it fades, the violence slows
The darkness, it rises, as the sun goes
Love is a distant aroma at best,
A withering smile that's stuck deep in your vest.
The night air it wraps its fingers around,
Your body, it shakes from the now distant sound,
Oh, the sound of her voice - a sweet symphony,
Over and over until you are free.
The music, it fades, the violence slows
The darkness arises, as the sun goes
Can you feel the new day rising,
Climbing up the east horizon?
They controlled us
Now we'll fight through
Each and every one
will start new
Well, we shall not stumble
No, we shall not fall
We shall not crumble
No, we shall stay tall
Well death, it will come
As sure as a night
We will not run
No, we live but to fight
With blood on our hands
And dirt on our knees
We tear at the ones,
We brought a disease
The music, it fades, the violence slows
The darkness, it rises, as the sun goes
Can you feel the new day rising,
Climbing up the east horizon?
They controlled us
Now we'll fight through
Each and every one
Will start new
For Video game songs, I've found that Nobuo Uematsu is my all time favorite. Something about those lo-fi midi tracks on the SNES gave a lot of room for the imagination. That and he formed a Neo Classical rock band called Black Mage with 3 other Square Soft composers of his time. haha
Yeah!

I was into Baldur's Gate back in the day, and a friend once got me a CD of the music from the series (two main games and three expansions). I was polite about it, but after you've played a game for a few hours, the music is about the last thing you want to hear. I had to keep the sound up because hearing environmental noises is important, but i also had the local NPR station going on the radio.
I just finished the game on high chaos, and twice. You have the option of saving emily or not saving emily in high chaos. In total three endings are possible. I won't say anymore to not ruin the ending for anyone.
Well, that was worth my money.

@Setanta,
I somewhat remember my brother playing it, more like hogging it.
I bought it from a friend some years ago. I still have the cds. The only problem is when I play it i can't get a a big resolution. Max I got was 640x480. kinda slow paced, it seems to me now. different from how i remember it when I was young. Prospect of BG1-2 in Dragon Age's engine would be awesome though.
The Infinity Engine is a good platform, and i, in fact, prefer it to others i've seen. It's only BGI/Tales of the Sword Coast which has the resolution limitation, and there are any number of independent mods online which allow you to increase the resolution. That said, i had no problem with the resolution, because you see as much on the screen as an elf or other race with heightened vision would see. You must not have played BGII, because it has the higher resolutions. That goes for Icewind Dale/Heart of Winter and IWDII, also, and Neverwinter Nights--all of which use the Infinity Engine.
