In the latest Time magazine an article by Dr Oz, Goal Power, simplifies how to solve problems with well known quotes, not by by consultation, religion or Psycoanalyzing, just suggestion. Does this really help the lost find the road to recovery, or is it just another fad?

What we think, or what we know, or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is WHAT WE DO. John Ruskin (1819 - 1900)

All three use suggestion and have done so for centuries. When successful suggestion is very powerful

Sheer nonsense from the World of Oz except how they affect what we do but meanwhile they can profoundly affect our health and maybe even our longevity even with little if any outward action
I thought auto-suggestion was popularized by Emil Coue (of France?) over a hundred years ago. His famous suggestion was: Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better (or something like that).
