I scored a distance of 532.
I crashed anyway in the end ..
It was fun before we died...
1254... reminds me of motorcycle!
(I've crashed everything with 2 wheels I ever owned)
I rode motocross bikes, a few crashes but overall very lucky!
Oh, me too... never broke bones... just bikes.
I broke my leg riding my Honda 70 on the street when I was in the fourth grade, sideswiped a car.
1254? I never made it to 200!
Bear with me for a true story (oh, no! johnboy's going to babble again. Can't someone please give him his medication?) Sorry...
When I was with the 101st in VN in 1969-70, we (ie the US) were pretty much in a defensive posture. The war was not going well.
Someone somewhere decided that it would be a cool idea to send a whole bunch of troops into the A Shau (sp?) to try and disrupt the traffic on the Ho Chi Minh trail. Hundreds of choppers took off from our base camps: infantry soldiers first followed by
engineers (including rjb). As soon as the chopper we were riding in crossed the ridge into the valley we could hear the pings of bullets bouncing off the sides. The doorgunners leaned out and fired back.
We landed and jumped off. The choppers had to leave while we planted explosives; the door gunners blazing away. Within five minutes we had blown up the targets we had been assigned and the chopper came back, giving and taking fire and as we jumped on board and headed back "home."
I happened to be in the front of the pile of my squad members; pretty much at the knees of the pilot. I looked up at him as the few last pings hit the chopper. And I remember thinking, "****, I'm 24 and this guy is younger than I am."
They dropped us off at a pad. We lay there for a few minutes, trying to remember how to breathe.
A very calm voice came over the radio: "This is Comenchero 25. We hope you had a nice flight today. Thank you for flying Comenchero."
Those guys were good! -rjb-
Realjohnboy- Wow, that's quite a story. Glad you made it home safe.
OK I scored 2,815! Time for somebody to get their 12 year old to score 35,465,465,454,654
Thanks, and let's get back to where we were. A lady came into my store wanting us to frame a picture of her son...competing in some kind of motorcycle race. I asked "How do you feel about him doing this?"
"It's what he enjoys doing."
So has anyone beaten 1254 on the chopper game?

well after I learned my right from my left I got a 988
