When we have out of town guests, I like to take them to San Francisco's Cliff House. It has one of the best scenery on the West Coast with high ceiling windows.
Used to be By The Bucket in San Jose that served steamed clams, but they are now gone. My next choice is the Fish Market not far from where we live. I usually order their Dungeness crab or crab salad.
