I sit back and listen to these broken hearted children
Where's my mama? Why won't she come home?
Where's my father? The one I've never know.
Where's my family? The one that loves me.
Cause I don't want to face this world alone.
And I don't wanna grow up on my own.
Mama won't listen, she don't even care.
She wishes she was free, anywhere away from me.
She doesn't love us, she's always on the run.
Mama please, when will we be one?
Where's my mama? Why won't she come home?
Where's my father? The one I've never know.
Where's my family? The one that loves me.
Cause I don't want to face this world alone.
And I don't wanna grow up on my own.
Little boy sits down with me.
Says, "please, can you help me?
Nobody loves me no one ever will,
cause i'm just a shadow in the room.
No body sees me but you"
Where's my mama? Why won't she come home?
Where's my father? The one I've never know.
Where's my family? The one that loves me.
Cause i don't want to face this world alone.
And I don't wanna grow up on my own.
Very haunting poetry , sufp
And of course, it's being all too true, hurts.
