Back in the days of Windows 2000, my Internet connection cut itself off when someone was phoning me or someone in the house was phoning someone else. It gave priority to phone calls. Using a standard modem connection, is it possible to have the computer do this with XP, through software or something else?

Hmmmm.... I don't know of a software that will do this... I think it depends on them modem, how sensitive it is to interference, if you use your old modem w/ ur new OS maybe?

Oh yea and theres hardware that you can buy at radio shack or the like that will do it for you automatically and put the internet on "hold"
