We want to create a Facebook application, which should make many requests to profiles on facebook. They can block us? or what can be done to prevent this from happening?.

I believe they can block you from accessing their API (application programming interface). My kneejerkish reaction is that I hope that you can't circumvent this protection because it sounds like you are trying to spam Facebook with your app. Then again, I may be wrong.
