Update: ... and the current James Bond sits by as the Queen jumps out of the helicopter! The famous Bond theme kicks into gear as the Queen parachutes (with a United Kingdom flag on the back) into the stadium. Enthralling!
Yes, I just found this on the NYT which makes that a bit more clear than Yahoo's account:

no it was soneone else dressed like the queen but we do not know who it was.
