It was re toffee and taffy maybe being the same - and I said, nope.

Oh sorry OB, Omsigdavid misquoted me about toffee and taffy. That comment was actually written by Izzy. My understanding of toffee and taffy is that they are very very different. I don't think I've ever seen rock candy. The closest I've come to that is the lyrics of a Burl Ives song called "big Rock Candy Mountain"
I love toffee, hate taffy, and rock candy is an unknown substance to me.

I seldom buy film DVD's but I have a copy of "oh brother" and a much earlier Coen Bros. film "blood Simple"

Looking over PSH filmography, he's been in many movies we've seen....one of the most intense was "doubt" with Meryl Streep, and his performance as Truman Capote was wonderful.

If indeed, his death was due to an overdose, drugs have snuffed out another bright light.
