PC date is not updated

I have inserted a new Bios battery into my PC. But the problem is,after restarting the system date is not updating.It is showing previously started session time.
How to solve this problem?

Are you sure the battery is new, charged, etc.? Perhaps you were (unfortunately) ripped off.

you can also check and make sure, the date and time are correctly set in BIOS
