@infinitevizionz,
It depends on what you want. Check GoDaddy - they are a huge provider and you can start from there in order to compare prices.

@venusammeta,
Determining how much a web site should cost is one of the most frequently asked but rarely answered questions in the web design world. Even now, with millions of web sites online, there exists no magic formula for calculating either the cost of a new web site or the cost of a redesign.

@infinitevizionz,
This is not clear question. You want know about cost of registration and hosting or Web Development only or both.

@infinitevizionz,
The best deal I've found is Hostgator which is going to cost you about $100 a year and allows you unlimited domains. My only issue with them is that you have to pay at least a year at a time. Actually that's not such an issue for me but for the beginner there are a couple of hosting companies that will let you start with the 1st months payment of $10 and then pay $10 a month, monthly. Most of these companies will provide Wordpress or something similar like Joomla or Drupal which is basically website in a box. Just run the install /setup and viola you have a website.. But you have to register a domain which you can do for as little as $4.

So, there you go you can get a website for as little as $14.

@infinitevizionz,
Most websites are better and more complicated than that and require more time and additional skills to build them. The cost of a website mostly depends on the amount of time required to build it. To give an estimate of costs for a website, your web designer needs to assemble as much information as possible so they can estimate the time required to build the site. It also depends on the pages you have in your website. Depending on the size and the content, cost will vary.

@infinitevizionz,
Either it would be a service or product price is always variable, it is similar like service of a hotel which serves you in $500/day and also have a rate of $5000
Also Depends on necessity as well functioning, use, complexity, look and feel, custom design or using some free template!

If your site is very big than it is costly for you. All of the site developer work for your site hourly and this pay is different for different country.
Suppose you hire USA and Indian developer than you pay more money for USA developer compare to Indian developer.
