Our bodies
are like glass bottles,
meaningless containers for immense souls.
We look through the glass at each other
and salivate
at the thought of the rich,
bubbling, sweet fluid inside.
The soul
is experienced through the transparent looking glass,
tightly compressed by a cap
that we use to shield the elements of the world.
The fizz,
is our image;
clumsily allowing small particles of the soul
to escape out into the air of others,
with great fear
that we will go flat.
The pretty label on the outside
is our facade,
designed to ensure
that we are plucked off the shelf.
wow, i really like this, very interesting perspective. thanks for sharing.
