With many significant offseason moves, who do you have in the World Series?

I got Yankees vs. Cubs with the Cubs winning in 6.

Nineteen O' What? GO CUBS!

Baseball is a big disappointment. They charge $6 for hot dogs, and $3.50 for a coke. We can get a hot dog and large soft drink for $1.60 at Costco. The best hitters of baseball have been charged with muscle enhancers. It's no longer a game of sports, but a business with multi-million dollar contracts that ends up costing the fans a day's salary to go see "baseball" for a few hours entertainment.

Ci, if you think it's expensive, check out ticket prices for Red Sox games. I just got a pair of some of the worst seats at the park, $44 each.
Got another pair of mediocre seats for $70 each.
That doesn't include the many beers.

Slap, They'll continue to charge what the market will bear. The problem with baseball is that it's not the amount paid the players that produces the best teams. I think that's also true of football and many other spectator sports.

And Fenway is a relatively small ballpark, with some of the most dedicated and diehard baseball fans in the country...there's a higher demand than supply for tickets here. So they can get all the money.
