I have been married for 14 years but me and my husband have been seperated for almost as long. We were married in april of 1998 & seperated in may the same year so basically we only lived together for a little bit over a month & we never reconciled. Ive just been married but seperated all these years. I decided a couple of months ago to finally file for divorce. He lives in another state now so i had to have a sheriff give him the papers in the state he lives in. I called a couple of days ago and they said they received the original return of service & the affividate but not the citation. My question is can the judge still grant the divorce without the citation?

@ladi34,
Which state are you in? Which state is he in? Where did you file?
