Window Sizes?

Reply Mon 16 Feb, 2004 06:21 am
Silly little thing here, but it's been bugging me way to long...

When I open a window, say... windows explorer or internet explorer, they allways open at about 90% of maximum size. For some silly reason, superstition or something, I HAVE to click and maximize the window! Laughing

How on earth can I make a window open to maximum size??? Embarrassed

Thanks!

The only way I"ve found is to make sure the window is maximised when you close it. The next time you start IE, it should start maximised. I don't know if it'll still be the same after a restart. OS's later than 98SE may have a selection for it somewhere.

1) Close all browser windows.
2) open a window.
3) maximize it by stretching it out. Do not use the maximize button. Stretch out the borders.
4) Close the window.

Next time you open it the size will be remembered.

Hmm, that's what everybody allways says... but it doesn't seem to work on my machine. My OS is WIN98SE, matter of fact... in which I have encountered other strange bugs... Thanks, though!

It will work, you need to make sure to follow those steps. If you have another window open it might not work.

I had the same problem some time ago, and it was driving me nuts. Stretching the window DID fix the problem.
