Hi. I need to interview someone, as part of a project for school, on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Does anyone know of anyone that I could contact to interview?
Thanks

Gustav Ratzenhofer is old, very old. I think he went to High school with Nebuchadnezzar
Why not ask Setanta for the interview? I'm sure he knows a great deal about the subject, and he's available right here on A2K.
Choose a good university in your area, go to their website. Look up in the course catalog the class codes for ancient civilization courses. They'll probably be in the "Classics" and "Near Eastern Studies" departments. Then look up in the class schedule which teachers are teaching those courses . Then call the teacher or department and talk to people about setting up an interview.
Make someone up...That is what I always do with those kinds of assignments. How would the teacher know if you interviewed the foremost expert in the field? Unless of course it has to be video recorded. If that is case, get your uncle, dad or an older male figure to put on a sweater and a pair of classes...BINGO!
Thanks for all the ideas!
How might I get in contact with Setanta?
Send him a PM here at A2K.
Silly me!
Guess thats why I am still a newbie!! LOL
How about a librarian? Or an ancient greece specialist from a museum?
Since this is the 7 wonders of the ANCIENT world you will be looking for information on:
The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Temple of Artemis
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Great Lighthouse at Alexandria
The Colossos of Rhodes
There are lots of websites out there with information on these so you get a lot of information to pad-out your interview if you wish.
