can anybody tell me if it is possible and how to use a sega gamepad on a pc. my son has downloaded a 'sonic' game and wants to play using a gamepad. i have plugged one in, and windows has installed a generic driver but it still doesn't work. i am running windows XP pro, amd duron 1.2 gig processor. grateful for any help. love you all!!
Which SEGA gamepad? If a generic driver didn't work, you'll have to install a driver specific for your hardware. If none exists (because it's a Dreamcast controller, for instance), it's unlikely you'll get it working with Windows.
Just buy a computer gamepad. I got my 6 button USB gamepad for $10.
Are you sure that it's plugged in correctly?
sega gamepads.
Thanks for the replies. i think i will just buy a pc. pad as ye110man suggests. even though the fickle child has now gone back to his ps2 and shows no interest in sonic.
