@InfraBlue,
Dawkins in fact claims to be at level 6 on the scale 1=7 for "belief in God" (7 being total disbelief). Clearly this is paying lip-service to "open-mindedness" but it certainly avoids being called a "totalitarian".

yeah dawkins is a wimp, he is too soft on belief. I just say screw it, go for the seven, you are right anyways even if you don't know it. If there is a god and it doesn't want to make it's presense or existence known then by all means it might as well not exist. So even if it does exist, it is meaningless because it would rather you base it's existence on nothing other than a wisful desire than to actually solidify it with credible evidence.
