In Brazil I used to have one that flew around my bedroom like a nut when I turned off the lights. He came from the attic.

When I finally decided that his flapping wings did not outweigh the benefit of his mosquito appetite I just put some rat poison in the ceiling and never saw him again.

If you have hordes of them, like I did there, you can always put a bolt on a string and attach it to a pole.

Then you go outside and swing it around real fast. The bats try to catch what they think is an insect and get smacked.

There would be dazed bats lying all around me when I was done....

Yesterday an act of meanness made me grit my teeth and speak my mind. You see, we have a coworker who has what appears to be a sticky genitalia problem. Every time he stands still he does a little knees out bounce to free things up.

Yesterday I caught several of his coworkers imitating him and laughing to each other. Now, admittedly, I had a giggle when I saw him do it the first time, but come on people! Ten men standing around imitating him and laughing is not good. Sooner or later he'll see it and have his feelings hurt.

Now I feel bad for giggling. Sad

Listening to a friend of mine, at her most malicious, gleefully gossiping about the goings-on in Chicago concerning the passing of John H. Johnson, founder and publisher of Ebony and Jet magazines. According to gossip, his daughter didn't take care of the funeral arrangements as urgently as she should have and now things are kind of a mess and instead of feeling some compassion for this only child trying to handle her father's last bit of business, people, including my friend, are snickering and almost gleeful in their badmouthing. But in the meantime, trying to figure out some kind of way, through hook or crook, into these "screwed up" services because of the many entertainers, athletes and dignitaries expected to attend.

Just one more reason that I'm glad to have gotten out of such a nasty, backbiting environment.

Yeah, I hate backbiters. Those that can't look you in the eye while taking a piece of you.

Want to know what's really making me mad at the moment? The way bossess & coordinators, etc, etc, keep piling on extra jobs with incredibly short time-lines. Like, when am I supposed to do this extra stuff, I ask? Confused Why, on my weekends, my evenings, of course! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Spit - ptooooiii!!!!!!!!!

The Australian cricket team makes me shudder! I don't think I'm fit enought to take any more of these 4am finishes. Why can't the English play cricket during the day - like any normal country!?

The sound of the guy next door making love with a fairly loud girl, this morning. Weird, I normally dont hear anything from there. Must admit, he kept it up for quite a bit. Who woulda thought.
