@dlowan,
Can strong antibiotics give you nightmares?

I am on really strong ones right now, and I literally leaped out of bed today to get away from them!

I slept about 10 hours, and feel as if I spent that entire time in hell!!!

@dlowan,
Found one source

"Other drugs suspected of causing nightmares include heart drugs, antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin, antihistamines, appetite suppressers such as fenfluramine, antidepressants, Parkinson's drugs such as levodopa, and ulcer drugs (cimetidine). However, many drugs cannot be stopped abruptly without side effects, so it is necessary to consult your physician before altering the use of medications."

@JPB,
both of those posts were on the same drug or class of drug. These folks really don't like cipro. I hope that's not the one you're taking.

@JPB,
Whoa...I am taking flucloxacillin...no nightmares noted as side effects...but it's one damn scary drug!!

I sure do feel weird.

And, for the ladies amongst us, my undercarriage, so to speak, is a nest of the common thrush.

It is nesting more widely than is its wont...using all the available nesting spaces, so so speak.

I am so glad to hear that Diane is doing well (and that dys is his usual cranky self).

Now I can move on to worrying about the wabbit's undercarriage. Shocked

Ok, if you can joke about it, I'm less worried.
