Ouch indeed, mushy!

But what is all this gritting about, do you think? Are you extra worried about something right now ...?

The thing is, of course, when you find out the cost of the repairs ... it could lead to possibly more gritting! Shocked

Good luck!

I'm moving places, so that has me more stressed than usual. I'm not so flexible and care free about moving nowadays. Stressed.

Will probably get fitted for one of those thingies the bunny is talking about. That might do the trick til I find a way to get over the grinding. Laughing

thanks for the good wishes, and for asking.

This new day, it's 1:00 a.m., is bringing a blizzard. Not much snow, thankfully, but Arctic winds gusting to 70 kh/hr are ushering in some frigid air. It was a balmy -4 C. Monday, a lovely January day on the Canadian prairies, but today we're looking forward to a high of around -25, with windchill making it feel like -40 to -45 C. Brrrrr!

I guess I am glad to be out of blizzard country, since on Saturday night my car was broken into and my trusty Tomtom satnav stolen. Yes, my fault for leaving it there, but actually, more the fault of the thief.

Mr Fix-it man was here yesterday to install some new lights in the garage and finish up painting. Bright sunshiny day with a bit of wind and 50 degrees F, Fix-it man did not finish so I left the Porsche outside. Overnight snowstorm, Porsche is in the driveway windows are down.

George W. Bush's State of the Union address last evening preempted my favorite TV show Medium.

Saw what looked like a dog that had been very recently run over on the main road near my house. It had been split in half and all it's meat was hanging out. It was really really horrible.

Whassup, Margo? Betcha were surprised in the men's, wot? The open final.

Was surprised a bit at both semi-finals, but we were in Melbourne the previous weekend, had seen all of them play. There was some seriously good tennis about. The final was less surprising than the semis.

I think Federer is not well. He's just not on his game. Nadal was just beaten by a better player on the night.

The final was good, though!

That pretty well sums up what I saw. Probably a one-off thing, and Federer will remain the man to beat for some time to come.

Me too, but man! I've had such a craptastic week! Without going into the details, let's just say I've had some unpleasant surprises pulled on me this week.

I hate surprises! I'm not into spontaneity, ok Life?

I'm so going out and having a couple of drinks tonight, coz' I can really use it!

OOOOOHHHHH!
We've been battling squirrels and bats in our attic and a worker today just put his foot through the ceiling of my clothes closet. FOR THE SECOND TIME! The first time he only cracked it but this time, it's a wonder his whole body didn't come crashing through, the hole is so big. All kinds of insulation and animal **** is all over the top shelf and I may as well just burn the stuff I had up there. Just the thought of it turns my stomach. Dammit. Now I've got to take everything out of there AGAIN for them to patch it and repaint.

Holy batshit, eoe! I hope nothing valuable or dear is lost.

Me, I'm grimacing about the frickin' weather again. Will this winter ever end? We have another storm bearing down on us promising another 6-8" of snow but not before the freezing rain makes it impossible to get home. We were already on the top ten snowiest winter list with a bullet.

Not much damage to be honest. Just some of my sweats, hospital scrubs and other lounging-around-the- house stuff. The shelf caught the junk that came from the attic, thank goodness, and none of the clothing on hangers got hit with anything.

It could have been worse. Rolling Eyes My ceiling could have caved in from snow accumulation, right? That did happen one year when I was growing up in Chicago. In my bedroom of course. Scary.
