I've tried to, hinge, without success so far. Laughing

My very worst one was following the 1975 (Oz) election. Momma mia! Did I disgrace myself! Embarrassed

But I do not wish to create the impression that I do this sort of thing all the time, OK? Would hate to create that impression!

Just in "exceptional circumstances"!

This is NOT going to be popular, but I am really angry at the Federal gov't who is increasing the tax on cigarettes to 61 cents a pack. Yes, I smoke, but this is not my complaint. It's the fact that the government is telling its citizens that they can no longer make personal choices without reprisal. End of rant.

Political & also personal upheavals are the cause of this sort of aberrant behaviour, hinge!

All the rest of the time I'm Ms Utterly Sensible! Absolutely.

Poor Letty. While I sympathize the 'personal choice' argument can be used about heroin use too. You should come to Australia - the govt levy on smokes is astronomical (about 70% of the price of a pack). The justification being that having nationalised health the money will cover the expense of medical care for smoking related illness.

I kind of dreamed about you...or at least Melbourne...last night, Ms O!!!!

I was coming back from somewhere, and had a few hours in Melbourne airport.

I was trying to find a way of contacting you, amongst all the oddness that was going on, but did not succeed.

Oh well.

Crikey, Deb, if you'd had my phone number I would have come to the airport & actually met you!

Awwwwwwwwwww! Opportunity missed! Sad

... & you could have saved me from my enfeebled state today, too!

Hmmmm .... now you've got me wondering about the "oddness that was going on"! This is intriguing!

It was a dream...there was no end of oddness going on.

To start with, we had to hike miles from the plane, over HILLS, on narrow, dangerous, winding goat tracks, to get to the terminal!
