@sozobe,
Got it.
So, maybe first the Bridge (which is kind of hard to see once you are on it) and then maybe the loop around the Cloisters (very pretty and great views of the George Washington Bridge.) and then we'll see.

Tonight, just a trot around the nabe.

@Thomas,
Run Slowly....AH, erm.....I'm already doing that.....walk, oh no, then I would miss my dinner date at 6:00PM.

Joe(If I was any slower, the crowds would be asking me to stop blocking their view.)Nation

So, yesterday I trotted across the Queensboro Bridge and ran across 60th Street to Central Park.

Can everybody see this?

The bridge is fun, not very scenic, but there are things to see (some interesting people too) and the Park never disappoints.

I'd put the pictures here but I can't figure out how to shrink them.

@Joe Nation,

determine the image's size by right-clicking it and checking it's properties (width x height)
do the math to reduce dimensions by 50%
change the front [IMG] tag to [IMG width=___ height=___]
always preview before posting...

But I just guessed. When I right click on the Chrome browser I don't get Properties.

But I can "Inspect Element and edit it's HTML.

And it's 192 days and counting.... .

@Joe Nation,

yeah, chrome just had to be different, didn't it...

http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x336/RegionPhilbis/chrome-2.jpg

ok... so if you hover over where it says "width="306" height="229", a box will magically appear with the actual ("Natural") dimensions
of the image -- in this case also 960 x 717...

Got my official "You're In" number a couple of days ago. This arrived today.

190 to go---ran in the rain last night on the very nicely re-packed bridle trail around the Central Park Reservoir- got my shirt for this Sunday's race that I will not be running because I have to be somewhere else......
which is most of me wanted to be last night.
