It may be a protracted recovery but let it happen and take advantage of the available meds, theyve made great strides on stroke recovery and further prevention.

Now I'm embarrassed. Thanks to every0ne for the kind thoughts.
This was the 1st time in 65 years I ever have experienced going to a hospital. My employee called 911 and the 1st responder was the firemen - a few blocks away who were there within 4 minutes. The rescue squad arrived a few minutes later.
As an aside, Charlottesville has an all volunteer rescue squad staff with people drawn largely from UVA. The savings allows the city and UVA to invest in the technology to stay ahead of the curve.
A short ride to the ER where the receiving doctor got a briefing. And then inside. The doctors - and the dozen or so med students watching from a discreet distance - seemed to be waiting for me.
1 1l2 hours later they seemed to be done with me in the ER and the various
