I just saw the Russel Crowe movie (can't even remember the correct title) and there was something I didn't get. At the end he realized the the doctor on the French vessel who gave him the sword of the dead captain wasn't really the ship's doctor so what was that supposed to mean, the the French captain was still alive and kicking on his own damaged ship?
Master and Commander. Haven't seen it yet.
