@machomanny69,
How to solve it (adapted from Poyla)

1. write down what you know

2. write down what you want to know

3. using algebra rearrange (1) to solve for a

4. convert velocities to m/s (hint how many metere in a kilometer and how many seconds in an hour)

5. put in variables with correct terms

6. check your answer

V1=V0+at (1)

V1 is final velocity (usually in m/s)

V0 is initial velocity (usually in m/s)

a is acceleration (usually given in m/s^2)

t is time (usually in in s)
