I don't know what he paid per vote in Michigan; but I wish he had just given us the money, and If he does that in a real election he will be some kind of poor person like the rest of us... Hummm...I thought I was just trying to get at the truth. You have twice mentioned that I was banned for, in essence, insulting you with the comment, "**** you."
Seems pretty unlikely that you could have written that phrase because if I remember correctly back in those days the hamsters would have automatically translated it to "**** you".
If memory serve me correctly Robert once started a thread on whether to ban me or not so it seems at times hardly a private matter or am I missing something?
The core of Occom Bill's argument is that certain members should be banned, mainly for having opinions he says constitutes "support for rape".
I believe that able2know should be a free marketplace of ideas and I do not think we should ban people on the basis of their opinions, no matter how distasteful they may be, as long as they do not infringe on the rights of other here for peaceful coexistence as they express them.
However not all think the ideals of an intellectual marketplace are the most important ones, and value the free exchange of ideas less so than a certain forum decorum they prefer. This thread is intended to discuss this core issue: should members be banned based on the opinions they express? If someone posts a viewpoint that is considered offensive enough, should this result in their banning?
While your attacks on me may be somewhat popular, rest assured, the demented duo are indeed almost universally despised for re-victimizing victims of rape. Only an asshole would think that was cool. And, you are the only person I've seen stand in defense of it.
For all your ranting about my attacks on the demented duo, you are a hypocrite. I do instinctually react to what I consider abusive behavior in kind. So do you. You’ve been doing it for several posts now.
It was about a principle, not actually about either of you.
It isn't always about either of you.

Yeah, they did. Some of us used to get around that with "shyt" and "fcuk"...but even that was stopped at some point. Nothing wrong with a bit of spicy language (colorful metaphors), but also nothing wrong with the forum asking for some decorum.
