She's my women
I hear him say
What does he mean? by the way?
Does he own her
It seems to me
Got his lines crossed.
Got me at a loss
She's a person
Not a clothes tag.
Say it to her
Like a bull to a rag
Womens a person.
Don't treat her that way
You'll wake up
She's gone away.
I love my lady
I tell her each day
She has her point.
Its better that way
So when I hear "She's my Women"
Think little respect.
He say's it through neglect
So don't say it no more
You maybe luck.
She's back through your door
Womens not a label
She's your wife across the table.
Mate its a fact
Get yourself together
And clean up your act.
Hey Joe, nice work. I hate it when my bf calls me woman, I find it very demeaning and disrespectful. Actually I told him this the other day and he hasn't said it since....yet. My bro in law also calls my sister (his wife) woman too, but it seems she likes it. I think it's just some sick new term young people think is cool.
I agree with you on that one. I think the word women sounds like she's my slave. The young nowadays seem to think its a cool word, but its downgrading. Thanks for reading my poem.
I like the poem and the message. Keep up the good work.
A woman should stand up and be counted and you put it so eloquently. Maggie
