do i believe that civilizations as advanced as ours have existed in the past and disappeared (more than once according to some)?

not really, but it's interesting to speculate about in a sci-fi sort of way

when those topics are discussed on Coast to Coast Am i find them the most interesting to listen to

Do we divorce ourselves from some semblance of reality of these myths? Do we just clean the slate of our history?

A lot of people still believe in the Bible.

It's one thing to believe in the dogma but another to continually search for the reality. The Old Testament is one amongst many ancient writings in the world and some of these texts, from all different corners of the world, have certain striking similarities.
