Well just a little piece of info - a friend brought me their laptop that had a virus. I picked up a program called "Stinger.exe"

Made clean-up pretty easy - recommended highly!
Stinger gets recommended a lot on this forum. I agree, it's excellent! Typically it gets updated whenever there's a new "big" virus out.
