My Lexmark X83 printer

I have a Lexmark printer, too, millerman. Every single time I try to print something, I get an error message asking me to check the power supply.

When I click on 'continue', my printer comes to life. No problem, but it happens every time.

As for suggestions ~ I'm sure you've already tried to make sure the printer is connected properly as well as connected to a power source that is active.

My only other suggestion would be to contact Lexmark or try uninstalling the printer and then reinstalling.
