'at the top' of the JFK assassination

Not the shooters or planners, but who all was 'at the top' of the JFK assassination and cover-up?

Not Dulles, Angleton, Hoover, McCloy, LBJ, etc.

Not Ruby, Hemming, Phillips, Cabell, etc.

But the silent, deep protagonists--what were their names and motives?

@cclark112263,
Do you honestly think anyone here knows this?

Who do you guess that would be?

There has been a cottage industry of books and media that sprung up around proposed theories. If one were to follow or believe that there was a conspiracy to cover up, it could be any one of several (or multiple) gov't agencies interested in preserving the national security and continuity of the Presidency. The purpose for covering up the assassination -- serving the common good of the American public -- could've been the motivation, one could theorize.

There has been more theories than stars in the sky: J. Edgar and the FBI, or organized crime (either and/or Hoffa) could've been one set of conspirators and/or US Steel (breaking their labor strike). No one will ever know.

Perhaps even the cover-up could've been a separate event from those that did the actual deed.

@cclark112263,
I believe it is safe to say that since no honest, serious, nor forthright
investigation has yet to ever deal with the death of JFK, and since
this fact is OK with Americans who have en masse never demanded
a truly intelligent answer on this subject, that: (1) apathy is remarkable,
and (2) it was intended that "the people" never be told the truth. And
I can't think of any single incident that has been so responsible for the
American people to be left with a vague sense of unease & awareness
that our government is NOT what is appears to be.

Thas assertion is FALSE.
The History Channel has presented a very exhaustive and cogent
in-depth examination of the facts.

@OmSigDAVID,
Agree David this is a nonsense thread as there is no reason to think that this was not a lone nut who did indeed kill the President firing one rife.

Oh and we did land on the moon also..................

@BillRM,
Well, yes, Bill,
but as a matter of etiquette,
I don't wanna give offense to the author of the thread,
especially since he is a newcomer.

@cclark112263,
i only met the group the once, but as i recall there was bill, smitty, jim, carl, mortimer, the other carl, and some guy who called himself king rex the 3rd

great bunch of guys, well except for all the covert behind the scenes running things that go along with being a member of the illuminati (you know, the assassinations, wars, aids and other plagues, that kind of stuff)

Thank u, Izzy. If I got that right, it shows that
Kennedy took out a little boy in short pants for waving an American Flag.

@OmSigDAVID,
No, as usual you got it arse about tit. Kennedy took himself out so he would be remembered as a liberal icon, not a corrupt criminal like Nixon.

@izzythepush,
I wonder Y he shot the little boy with the Flag.

Well, after what he did to the Cuban Freedom Fighters,
I guess he was capable of anything.

You can say that about pretty much any investigation that the US has done. That's precisely how all the war crimes and terrorism have been covered up.

You may be right about that particular incident but it's really hard to tell as there have been so many incidents that illustrate clearly that the US government has never been what the propaganda says it is.
