According to the video ("Laryngeal Nerve of the Giraffe Proves Evolution"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SErP6kQxiFg )
the Laryngeal Nerve loops around into the chest cavity making a multiple meter length nerve when it could do the same function if it was only 4 inches long and followed a direct route.

My friend who is a electronics technician and a Creationist says the nerve is long and curving because it is acting as a transducer.

I said the sheathing around the nerve insulates the nerve preventing it from acting as a transducer.

What is your opinion?
