Silk moon ever so bright
Reflects this lady
Will she appear tonight
A mystic sway don't delay.
The closer she gets
No time for regret
Did I dabble or did I pray
Whatever time to pay.
How's this lady of the unknown
Can't say she's always alone
For me I can't remember
Sounds of a voice so haunting and tender.
Cold sweat, dead of night
Keeps me awake till daybreak
I've only seen her once before
A face that will haunt to the core.
This mystic lady
Tell me sorrow
My heart you can borrow
If someone has betrayed.
You in the past
Forgive me I have to ask
Time is night
She has appeared.
There's nothing to be afraid
With sad eyes she looked at me
She holds a picture
With hands cold for me to see.
Then it came back I did see
Her lost lover, lost at sea.
Beautiful write my friend
Thank you Rosemarie for taking the time to read it.
