I guess these coyotes like the mall - first the south shore mall in Braintree and now the Burlington mall....

There are coyotes in NYC. Most pets aren't roaming around unleashed here. They probably eat pigeons, squirrels, and rats. We've also got raccoons.

It's not looking good for southern Ontario. A local neighborhood group reported that a coyote had been seen in our neighborhood, very close to the house. An eight year old girl was bitten by a coyote in Oakville (the animal was subsequently shot and killed). The girl did not suffer a serious injury, but is to undergo shots for rabies. Toronto is dream land for wildlife.
