Well... given some internet search time, I'm sure I could find the information you seek... But then... so could you.

Welcome to able2know... Please stick around and throw your two cents in when you feel so inclined...

Are you serious?
The chemical inside holds a charge and when you hook up two wires to the positive and negative ends, you get power. Or you can use one wire for both ends to make a very interesting over-heating short, or you can create the short and then find a way to shove it in an electrical socket. So many cool things to do with batteries...

So that's why you don't put a battery in a fire...don't want to make those goblins mad!
