A homeless woman was held for a psychiatric evaluation yesterday after police say she held up a Hub bank and then handed out cash to kids in a park, while another accused bank robber was busted after police say he got cold
Jasmin Rivera, 30, was ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation at Worcester State Hospital at her arraignment yesterday.

She was allegedly attacked Dec. 26 and had her medication stolen, a court clinician said. She was still not taking her pills Wednesday, the mental health worker said, when police say she walked into a Citizens Bank on Avenue de Lafayette and handed the teller an error-ridden note claiming she had a gun and warning “I’ll follow you home,” but added “please” and “thank you.”

I 'd be ashamed to give a single dollar.

That 's like an insult,
but we can make exceptions for the mentally ill.

Yeah, I agree. This woman is not, as the saying goes, too tightly wrapped. Robbing a bank and then giving the money away is one thing. But $1 (one dollar) bills??? That's bizarre.
