Well maybe somehow the kids let a virus or something else in on there computer. I've scanned with my up to date Norton AV and nothing.
In MS Exlporer - we can navigate to most sites, but when we go to paypal we get directed off to another site, with a zillion choices for online payment - but no paypal. I scanned with the local NAV and scanned with the AV for the website.
What do I try next? - Now I'm sure happy we have adult puters and kids puters in my house.
Look in your hosts file. For more on that see my posts here:

Thanks
I bet - that's the issue right there!
Virus
This may or may not be relevant, but there are spammers out there using addresses and subjects that look like the real Paypal. Perhaps this is what you are accessing somehow?
well I went and cleaned up the hosts file only 2 entries
rhino.acme.com
x.acme.com
removed those - then brought up explorer - same problem still there.
Went out and got spybot S&D cleaned up 42 problems. Now I go to bring up Paypal.com and the site is not found "cannot be displayed"
Now what??
works fine on the other 3 computers
