Can you be considered tough or macho if you ride around on a scooter?

I am writing a comic about streetfighting cats and dogs that fight crime. I want to give my comic book characters motorcycles.

I want to know can you be considered tough of macho is you ride around on a scooter? I know you can be considered tough or macho if you ride around on a motorcycle, but something like Vespa Scooters are a lot easier to draw:

I am curious about this- please help. Thank you.

@JGoldman10,
I think a pink Vespa would be perfect for Puffy and his furry friends...

@Rockhead,
TUFFY is my main character. Puffy is a side character.

Why would I give a MALE character a pink scooter?

@Questioner,
TUFFY are PUFFY are CATS.

I would give a FEMALE DOG a PINK SCOOTER OR MOTORCYCLE, unless she was a TOMBOY.

I never heard of any biker gangs in which the members rode around on scooters.

Could you possibly managed to think outside the proverbial archetypes and cliches and not stick with the dull conventions?

Personally, I think scooters would turn the characters into silly caricatures no matter what color it is.

The quality of a good character is not created by his or her aesthetic goodies but by his or her actions, words, and thoughts. It doesn't matter if you give the character a pink scooter or a gun black metal Harley Davidson with two foot long spiked wheels and a flame thrower exhaust. Neither vehicle makes a character MACHO. Not that macho is really an attribute that would make a character readworthy.

@tsarstepan,
My characters are action heroes, so what kind of conveyances would you give them?

Flying figs? Magic carpets? Unicycles? Roller skates? Skateboards? Ice cream trucks? Festively festooned spittoons on casters?

Clearly you want easy to maneuver items which can weave in and out of traffic, over fences, down (or up) narrow alleyways where their elusive prey is fleeing to, so you don't want a tank or a hummer...then again maybe a hummer is just what you're in the need of. Maybe even get a hummer in a Hummer by a hairy chested man that reminds you of Bob Hoskins from your favorite film Roger Rabbit.

Once more, think of easy to move modes of transport, heck, you can even have them being super speedy runners.

@Sturgis,
I didn't say "Roger Rabbit" was a favorite film- it is one of the cartoon movies I like.

Interesting how you only responded to the part about getting a hummer (blowjob/oral sex) from or to a Bob Hoskins type from Roger Rabbit. Didn't make any mention of the varied forms of conveyance that I listed for you or how I indicated smaller is better for heroes because of tight spaces they must go to.

Your obsession with Bob Hoskins tells me you got the hots for him Goldilox.

Nothing wrong with scooters, all the gay boys in St. Pete ride them.

So now you're sexist, in addition to your other delightful attributes? Females don't ride motorcycles or motor bikes unless they are tomboys? Rolling Eyes

I hate to tell you this, Jason, the world has moved beyond the, "pink is for girls, blue is for boys nonsense". You are perpetuating old out-dated gender stereotypes, and that's the wrong message to send to today's kids.
You really are several decades behind the times--on most things. You do need to get out of the house more.
