I have to wait for cold weather? Let me put the air conditioner on then. Laughing (not warm yet, just humid and approaching 70 degrees (Fahrenheit).

Just don't serve me any lamb!

I don't like lamb. Not mutton, not chops not baked, not boiled, not hidden under onions (not that I ever had it that way), not slow roasted over an open fire. For about 2 months in 1960 I was able to tolerate lamb ribs. I can't stand the smell of it cooking.

I'll have the potatoes though..just don't let them near the lamb.

@Sturgis,
Nothing tastier than Lamb Chops grilled on an open camp fire in the bush with a piece of damper and a cold ale.

@Dutchy,
Maybe lamb the Bill Gannon way. Laughing
(from a very grim episode of Dragnet, discussing his barbecue recipe)
Bill: You wait til you taste it. You're invited.
Joe Friday: Where?
Bill: Out to the house Saturday, we're having a barbecue
Joe: I got a date Bill, I'm sorry.
Bill: You sure will be, we'll be having lamb and that's what's great about this sauce.
Joe:Yeah,
Bill: You put it on lamb, you'll never know it's lamb.
(the recipe includes a quart of vanilla ice cream)

@Sturgis,
I see....

We'll stick with the pork then, pork belly, pork roast, crackling, pork chops, pork stuffed with prawns, etc, etc with extra potatoes Smile

Too much? Egads! That looks like barely a mid-morning snack!

Oh terrific, now I want a plate of pork medallions and green beans and it's too late in the day to be eating anything more.
