Codeine used to be very popular here, but were purported to have a lot of bad side effects - I don't even think you can buy them over-the-counter now.

Can't.

Mersendole (not sure how you spell it) are muscle relaxants work well in making you feel more comfortable and tired as well, and you can get them over the counter if you need something .

It does have codine in it but not as much as the others.

YIKES!

It doesn't appear to be available in the UK. New Zealand and Canada and Australia have it though. I found an alarming post from someone on a site in Canada when I googled it. Posted it below -

ADDICTIONS.

She has an addicted personality I am guessing. However, painkillers off course can be addicted and if you have something severe, then you keep taking them in usual cases and whallla addiction....

For a minor " Smile

" problem it's temporary and most people don't become addicted...

But 15 YIKES in-deed I hope someone is helping her, she for sure will die otherwise, with failure of her kidneys ...........

SHAMPOO

Have you ever had to refrain from washing your hair for any length of time? I can't wet my face at all - so it's five days since I last washed my hair - yikes, feels sooooooooooooooooo dirty! Dry shampoos seem to make it worse - what can I do? Answering my own question, I guess I have two choices - go to my hairdressers if I feel well enough (not at the moment), or ask my husband to try and do a salon wash - head backwards into the basin ................. wish us luck!

I remember not being able to dry mine for almost 2 months, imagine the look Smile

I think your husband can manage but, he has to massage your head don't forget to tell him Wink

I'm going to add some brown into mine next week, in the length at the back and a few streeeeeeaaaaakss.....

2 months! Strewth - must have been horrid for you. How on earth did you cope? I tried dry shampoo but it made my scalp itch.

had stitches removed today - looks bad and will get worse for four to six weeks, but I can't complain - that part's over with!

Not really brave yesterday ...... will take a lot more courage to go out and face people today - feel like the monster in a sci-fi film ... 'The Monster from Planet X Stalks the Earth'...... etc. (Only going to the shops, you'd think I was on an expedition to the North Pole!).
