No never had that, rice wan't available until after the war, can't remember my mother ever making it, only got rice cooked in milk with brown sugat sprinkled over it.

No doubt you're talking about "Orange Roughy) a deep sea perch caught in the Australian Bight. Smoked Oysters are one of my favourites too.

Barramundi is my favourite, I really don't like wet mushy type of fish or any fish that is very fishy haha. Barramundi I grill so it's texture is like chicken, garfish is ok, I do and always have loved the basic fish and chips, battered off course.....
