What holiday movie would best describe your life?
'It's A Wonderful Life', chatoyant. But, the big difference between me and George is that I'm quite happy with my life ~ I treasure every moment. My confidence level has gotten better over the years, but I still have many days where I don't think I've made a difference in anyone's life.
Rae, I'm sure there are many times when you make a difference in a person's life, but you just don't know it. How wonderful it is to treasure every moment of your life!
I choose Truman Capote's teleplay of his A Christmas Memory, a bittersweet view of life, based on the author's childhood. It could also have been based on mine with its eccentric and loveable characters. I don't know if this TV film is available on DVD, but it can be seen on VHS.
Geraldine Page stars in this Capote TV classic.
williamhenry, that is one I don't know of, but I'll look for it. Sounds like something I would like.
You're welcome Rae (and I meant that!)
It is a very sad little story that for
some reason, I have identified with
from as long ago as I could read
It is called
"The Little Match Girl"
not a movie, just an old fairy tale.
A movie that I would LIKE to be the
one most like my own life would've been
"Home Alone"
Babs, you must have had a
fun family!
