What has a head and a foot but no body?
A water pump. ("head" refers to the resistance to the flow of water in water pump terminology and "foot" is the term for the end of the pipe in the water.)
Wow. That's technical. Umm... there's and easier answer.
Drat. How about a cloud? They have a head and a foot too. (I figger if I keep guessing I'll come up with the right answer eventually. :p )
Sorry, that's not either. It is possible that those things fill the description but they aren't the given answer. Just think... What has a head? What has a foot?
