The only time I use cool whip is for the occasional jello recipe.....I had almost enough jello molds as a kid to last me a lifetime though, so this is rare.
Cool Whip is something that has not made its way across the Atlantic. It seems like that's a good thing.

@JPB,
My preferred is the freshy made whipped cream (where you whip it up yourself) - however considering this isn't efficient for everyday use - I tend to buy Redi Whip or similar.
