Here is a riddle. You do not have to solve it. I just need to know the pattern. It's math pattern and If you know it please tell me what it is.

For he devours the essence of the living,
For whoever, he sends gifts of hellfire,
For his foes must tremble, quacking in fear,
For he cannot be beguilled by darkness,
For he expells unnamed wraith to vanguish,
So says the lore... only this and nothing more.

P.S. If you questioning why there is a typo, it is intended typos. It might be one of the pattern tho.

P.S. If you questioning why there is a typo, it is intended typos. It might be one of the pattern tho.

I don't see why you think it is a math problem.

But, I would say that the answer is the sun.

The guy who created this riddle, made another two. Also, he is mathematician, and I assume that there is a hidden pattern. If you would like to see what are other riddles are i can show you.

Why sun? You just guessed or you found a pattern?

Try highlighting the spelling errors and use the numerical values of the wrong letters as successive positions in the text (either from the start, or from the error, or back from the error) in order reveal the letters of the message. E.g the incorrect "c" in "quacking", suggests counting 3 from the start (giving r) or from the c (giving n) etc.

Can you give more examples. Cauz I am not Native English speaker, so it's kind of hard for me to get all what you say. Sorry.

Sorry, I have not hand time to explore my suggestion as yet. Since you are a non-native speaker I have highlighted what I consider the spelling mistakes worthy of numerical analysis (given your mathematical hint).

So you might try c=3, l=12 etc taking the 3rd letter of the text then the twelfth after that, and so on.....giving you "ral...."etc
But you can use the numbers to count from their positions themselves etc

the new hint is "iambic pentameter"

so the riddle looks like this now:

for HE deVOURS the ESSence OF the LIving,

for WHOevER, he SENDS gifts OF hellFIRE,

for HIS foes MUST tremBLE, quaKING in FEAR,

For HE canNOT be BEguiled BY darkNESS,

For HE exPELS unNAMED wraiths TO vanQUISH

So SAYS the LORE... onLY this AND noTHING more.

The hint tells it has something to do with rhythm.
Perhaps a song is the answer?
