The Duggars are at it again

Geez what's wrong with these people, ITS A VAGINA....not a town car!

I saw about 10 minutes of one episode of their cable program. They are weird.


No, I take that back...they are far beyond weird, kind of scary in an alien from outer space sort of way.

I read today she had a miscarriage. It's a shame but 20 kids is not a blessing, its an example of gluttony with no care of responsibility.

Am I the only one in the world who's never heard of these people?

I respectfully have to disagree.

In this time of people saying a womans body is her own to do with what she wants, including scraping another human out of herself, it would also be her right to have as many children as she can care for/afford. Yes, I know the older children help with the younger. There's nothing unique in that.

I don't necessarily agree with the duggars lifestyle, but people seem to forget that even before they appeared on television, they were raising a family without any kind of government assistance, and love each one.
Their choice to appear on TV made them money, sure. Nothing wrong with that.

Saying that one thinks their lifestyle is "weird" or the way they dress their kids is unfashionable, doesn't equal a bad upbringing.

They breed them, and they feed them. They are loved, and it appears the children have love for their parents and each other. They all seem in good health, and each have a bed to sleep in, and a roof over their heads.

I figure a lot of people don't think 2 women or 2 men should raise children together, but it's more hip to advocate that than for a family to have as many kids as they want.

It's sad she had a miscarriage, and I'll leave it at that.

I do believe it’s a woman’s right and it’s her body to do what she wishes but the 19th child was born developmentally disabled and now they lost one. I just feel its time they started using some form of birth control

And while 20 is ENTIRELY too many for my taste, it is her right. Any miscarriage is a tragedy, and can leave a deep mark on both parties in the relationship. Sad to hear about it.

I love kids - but thinking of having more than 3 (my three are overwhelming to me at times) makes my brain implode. But some people can do it. I have a friend that has 7. And truly - they are the most helpful - well mannered kids - hilariously funny and well balanced. I think some people just have a knack for it.

19 kids though - I start looking for something to bang my head against.

my guess is that she chooses a headboard for that, missy...

I'd be willing to bet that at this point it's more function over form.
