I saw the end of a movie on the premium movie channel on cable TV in 1980 about roller skating and dancing on roller skates. The last scene of the move had this girl dancing on roller skates to a really great song. I can't remember the actress or the name of the movie but I sure would like to hear that song again.
Look up Roller Boogie, with Linda Blair, and Xanadu with Olivia Newton John. The first is specifically about roller dancing, and the second has a recurrent roller dancing theme.
