Router-IE9 Incompatibility?

Reply Mon 17 Oct, 2011 02:26 pm
I have been using W7,IE9 on a desktop through an old Netgear router. Recently, I upgraded the router to a Belkin N750DB. Since then the desktop is unstable with videos, overlays and other ad-type stuff. While I do not miss the ad content at all, the erratic flickering is distracting and the overlay mismatch makes many things unreadible. At the suggestion of friends, I have tried lowering browser security settings and even turned off my security wall for short periods. Problem remains. As an alternate, I've tried Firefox; and the problem is cured. Because of convenience, I would like to figure out how to stay with IE. Any suggestions?

@badeagle,
Have you looked on Belkin's website to see if there are any known compatibility issues and fixes with IE?

If not, here's their support site for the routers:
